  I was looking for a small TV for my kitchen area and I found what I was looking and it was on sale. The sales person on duty was very helpful. I also had to buy new tires for my car in June. The tires I had were no longer available but the sales person showed me what replaced them in the line up and how they were different and other features for better handling. I have been very satisfied, I hope this store never closes.

  I hate to see the decline of once great businesses like Sears, but walking into their store is like walking into the past. 10 years ago I bought a craftsman lawn mower at a reasonable price. I have spent the years maintaining the mower and it still runs great. When the belt on my deck broke I decided to go to sears to get a replacement. Walking in was like walking into a ghost town with no customers and few employees. After getting what I assumed was the right part it was a struggle to find someone to help me. Long story short, I purchased the wrong belt for my mower. When I tried to return the belt with receipt, I was treated like a criminal. They wanted an explanation on why I was returning it. Mind you it was 2 days later when I returned the belt in the packaging. After making a huge deal about how it was going to be hard to give me a refund, a manager was called and I had to go to the rear of the store. I felt the whole time they was going to deny my refund and also keep the stupid belt. With a store that looks like it hasn't been updated in 10 years, selection of outdated fashions and service that is horrible it is a wonder how this once great store still manages to keep the doors open.

  The sales person was and older man in a black shirt, and he was a real ass. He didn't want to help me order something online and when i finally told him to look for exactly what i wanted he got pissy. I used to work for sears years ago, this is dissapointing, they need to fire this jerk.
